I am trying to get a merged (merge all included sub-schemas into the main schema in 1 XSD file) main schema for 4.2 like what they provided since 4.6. But it doesn’t seem to exist. Is there a way to merge manually myself? 3rd party tool? FpML merge tool? Merge by hand?? The reason I need a merged XSD is that I am using a 3rd party ETL tool (Ab Initio) and it can take a regular XSD to generate a record descriptor. But it doesn’t seem to be able to take a XSD with . Thanks in advance!

Never mind! I have successfully merged manually the sub-schemas of Credit and Rate (and their corresponding included sub-schemas) and other common sub-schemas into fpml-main-4-2.xsd. It’s not really too hard anyway. If anyone is interested, I can attached my merged XSD. Thanks!

HI, You can find a Merged FpML schema since FpML 4.6 Working Draft – April 27, 2009. Otherwise, tools like Oxygen editor includes a Flatten Merge Schema function in order to merge all sub-schemas from the fpml-main to a single flatten schema XSD file. Best regards.
