Summary

Party Portfolio name should not contain a party reference, just a name.

Either the field is mis-named and mis-documented, or it is mis-modelled.

A type to represent a portfolio name for a particular party. A pointer style reference to a party identifier defined elsewhere in the document. The party referenced has allocated the trade identifier.

    PartyPortfolioName should be renamed PartyPortfolioIdentifier

id attribute should be removed from PortfolioName

JPM supports this ( AJ, AP, MR, HMcA )

Get rid of DataDocument in 5.x.

2008-03-17 Coord Committee: the whole portfolio structure within DataDocument needs to be examined to see if it’s still relevant. It’s not being used by the institutions represented in the Coord Committee. It’s being used within FpML by some of the pricing and risk definitions. At the same time, the portfolio reconciliation messages have a different representation (probably better) for portfolio.
