    There can be a fractional number as a result of corporate actions, this was the original design motivation

    Please add a comment to the schema to this effect. This will make it clear.

    Are these corporate actions subsequent to the trade only? i.e. must the trade number be a positive integer, and may only become fractional subsequent to the trade?
