Summary

In the scheme for the swap, I did not find a separate element for determining the clearing organization that will clear the trade. I found such a place in the swaption, and there was a separate element for it (ticket 1311 was created).

Q: Can I use xpath /dataDocument/trade/tradeHeader/partyTradeInformation/relatedParty/role with the value "ClearingOrganization" to define the CCP's role in a swap trade?

Thank you very much.

Best regards, Maksym

Yes. That xpath can be used for both swaps and swaptions.

In the swaption there is also the mutuallyAgreedClearinghouse

which will become that relevant party for  that xpath of the swap created upon exercise of the swaption.

It appears that this is a common place to define the roles of the parties involved in the trade, such as: CCP, Counterparty, Broker, Beneficiary, etc., which will then be used throughout the confirmation document?
