Summary

Good day.

I have the following questions about the scheme equityOption:

1) why is the notional element not mandatory according to this scheme? The reason for this is that we can calculate it due to the presence of other elements, for example: strikePrice, numberOfOptions, optionEntitlement ?

2) can a notional element be present in a document in which the underlyer/singleUnderlyer/ element will have a child element "equity"? I have analyzed examples on the site, and I have not found any represented in this way.

3) if the notional element can still be used for documents with the "equity" underlayer type, but will be absent (due to its optionality) in a specific document, do I understand correctly that in this case it will also be calculated according to the formula: notional = strikePrice * numberOfOptions * optionEntitlement ?

4) the openUnits element is used only for swaps and not for options ?

Thank you.

Regards,

Maksym

    1) Yes, the reason for this is that we can calculate it due to the presence of other elements, for example: strikePrice x numberOfOptions x optionEntitlement.
