ISDA has published a second Recommendation for FpML Version 5.8

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association, Inc. (ISDA) has published a second Recommendation for Financial products Markup Language (FpML) version 5.8.

The second Recommendation includes the below corrections, compared to first 5.8 Recommendation which was published in July 2015. The corrections are the result of implementation feedback received. 

• AdditionalEvent is a business event that was omitted by mistake from version 5.8. This has been corrected in the second Recommendation. The event is present in all 5.x versions, including version 5.9.

• The events model had become mandatory in executionAdviceRetracted in version 5.8 by mistake. The structure should not be required for the retracted messages. The model has been changed back to optional.

• The FxAccrualRegionBound.model within FxAccrualRegion has been made  required for most of the views. This change to 5.8 will be reflected in version 5.9 as well.
