Summary

The complex type EquitySchedule is not used in the FpML Schema. It remains in fpml-eq-shared, and has a rule around it.

fpml-eq-shared.xsd(270):

    Should the rule instead be on the AveragingSchedule?

    Since I may not be able to join the meeting today, here are my comments on
    the two issues:

    ID=470:

    Because equityEffectiveDate is optional, rule eqd-23 should be
    changed to
    If equityEffectiveDate exists, equityEffectiveDate >=
    ../../tradeHeader/tradeDate

    ID=468:

    EquitySchedule is used and the rule should remain.
    See equityFeatures/barrier/barrierCap/schedule
    It is also used in barrierFloor, knockIn, and knockOut

    Best regards,
    Jim

    EQDWG/VWG meeting 2007-08-24
    Agreed to remove EquitySchedule since it is an orphan.
    The rule should be on the AveragingSchedule as pointed by Matthew.

    The change is not in the repository.

    The rule in the 4-4-5 (LCWD) release said:

    Context: EquitySchedule (complex type)
    eqd-24 (Mandatory)
    startDate <= endDate " Please apply the EQDWG's decision.

    The eqd-24 rule has been corrected and committed to trunk – http://www.fpml.org/issues/view.php?id=468
